Michael Wildes’ practice is devoted to representing clients in all aspects of immigration law. He is considered a leading expert in the field.

He regularly consults and renders legal services with regard to employment-based immigration, job portability, worldwide U.S. consular practice, remedies for status violations, mergers and acquisitions, immigration-related corporate policies, crisis communication, government investigations, waivers of ineligibility, employer sanctions, legislative advocacy and immigration/naturalization-related litigation.

Michael also provides assistance with immigration I-9 audits and advice to assure compliance with government mandated information and recordkeeping requirements.

He has testified on Capitol Hill in connection with anti-terrorism legislation and is internationally renowned for his successful representation of several defectors who have provided difficult-to-obtain national security information.

Representative Matters

Represented Saudi Arabian diplomat Mohammed Al-Khilewi, who defected after walking off with incriminating evidence of international terrorism and espionage.

Secured the cooperation of accused terrorist Hani Al-Sayegh, who was implicated in the Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, an atrocity in which 19 U.S. servicemen lost their lives.

Represented Shoebomber Hero Kwame James, who subdued terrorist Richard Reid on board American Airlines Flight 63, saving the lives of 197 passengers and crew members.
